The 2016 election saw an unprecedented amount of name calling, unhanded dealing, back stabbing, dishonesty, out-right cheating and more. So for a voter to be confused, mislead, out of touch, or simply “just vote party line” is somewhat understandable. One would hope that non of the above did or would happen again, but knowing how lazy the American people are about voting, it was almost guaranteed that it did happen and will again.

The outcome of that election brings us to yesterday’s news cycle, always about dt and his last screw up. The Helsinki fiasco should make it perfectly clear to all of his supporters exactly which country he represents and whose interests he has at heart.

There is now no escaping his disdain for our democracy and the working class Americans. He uses and abuses his followers and they don’t even know it. They are much like the lemmings that follow one after another over a cliff to their death. Blind allegiance runs rampant in America.

In a Facebook account of a journalist sitting down with 4 supporters, 2 women and 2 men, they made it clear that the “1 hour news briefing” in Helsinki does not define who he is, but instead to define him we must look at “all” that he has accomplished. They go on to point to the economy doing “great”(which Obama fixed after the disaster caused by republican incompetence), the unemployment level (again Obama), and fewer minorities without work. (Let’s take a minute and remind ourselves of the people working in underpaid positions and those who are working in jobs requiring lessor skills than they have).

The time for understanding and showing compassion for his supporters, “because they made a mistake” and “they didn’t really see” etc. is up. It is time to simple show the minority that supports him that this country is and should be run by the majority. The majority rules, not the minority.

His supporters say we should look at his accomplishments and all that he has done. And I say yes let’s look at what he has done:

• Tariffs that are now causing our farmers to suffer lower prices for their crops.

• Harley-Davidson going overseas because of tax law passed.

• Workers not getting the raises from the tax cuts passed and signed.

• The environment suffering from his programs.

• Public lands being exposed to big corporations for profit.

• Gestapo tactics of taking children from their parents to give them a “shower” and not returning. (I digress: Do you think men and women would trek over hundreds of miles with little food or water, exposed to coyotes (animal ones too), harsh terrain, leaving behind their homes, possessions, and other family members just so they can come to America and sneak across our borders, knowing full well they will be arrested if caught, without a true fear for life and limb? Until now they knew that whatever they faced in America would be better than what they were living in their home country.)

• Education being butchered by his choice of Secretary of Ed.

• Public lands being leased to big corporations without concern for the aftermath of their operations.

• Climate change being regarded as a hoax.

• And, all the back door dealings with unworthy leaders while attacking our allies.

Our democracy is being tested at every turn. Corruption in our government is at an all time high in recent history.

Time is up for ignorance.

Time is up for corruption.

Time is up for pacifying the minority who think this bozo is “making America great again.”

Time is up for dt!

You will continue to feel sick about all of this until he is gone so in the mean time “take two aspirin and call me in the morning.”
